Get a new original vision of Savoy with Echo de nos Montagnes, the folk dancing group from Annecy.

The folk-dancing group from Annecy, created about seventy years ago, is an active association promoting the region of Savoy through the music, dances, songs, costumes and traditions from the 19th century. Among the activities maintained alive, explained and taught to the public, are crafts from that era such as wood-carving, bobbin lace, quill writing, old-time games, traditional recipes…

Our shows, enhanced by a set of costumed performers, depict the history of 19th century Savoy through dances and songs where the audience is invited to participate. Several themes (weddings, evening gatherings…) are available, as well as traditional dance teaching and handicraft workshops.

L’Echo de nos Montagnes also manages Ecomuseum of Lake Annecy in Sevrier.
